Horrible story but I appreciated this fact:

a major vehicle theft ring was taken down last night, with the help of my jeep as the 'bait car'. 3rd time was a charm for these *******s, they finally got it started after 2 failed attempts. HPD arrested them and all charged with felonies. They have been after them a while. Now I get to deal with the clean up and getting my jeep back to normal....

Hell yeah, they are getting felony charges. Trying to get them for other attempts as well. Caught them a 2920 and 45N,

3 dudes. HPD was following a stolen suv with paper tags. They pulled into my garage and followed another car through the gate, they came out with my vehicle and another vehicle. They use a portable hotspot, take out the tracker, and re-program a burner fob with the hotspot.

I really wonder how aware the common citizen is about what is going on at the county and city level as it pertains to criminals, bond, punishment etc. Not everyone pays attention to it like those of us on here.
