Because I don't live in San Antonio, so while good for you guys over there, that does all of nothing for people not living there.
Also, I'm thinking you're still paying more than before Trump attacked Iran que no?
I don't keep up with where folks live frankly but if LBK references Lubbock you seem to be conflating a price locally by 40 or 50-ish cents.
Not sure why west Texas would be that much higher than central Texas, really. Perhaps because we have to ship/truck/pipe so much more over to California these days?
I'm paying a bit more than I was when Ukraine started succeeding in hitting Russian refineries, yes. It's not really a big deal at all to me, tbf, and appreciate Trump trying to help cut down on terrorism/nuclear threats/long term problems/conflicts in multiple theaters.
I hear you, the price increases change nothing in my life either. That doesn't mean they didn't increase or that for others the increases don't affect them negatively.
Amd I'm sure the MIC and Wall Street love him doing things with the great intents you mentioned, yet not really changing much from how things were before at the end of the day.
As for why things are more expensive over here is beyond me. I'd love to be paying only 50% (a little over a dollar) more for a gallon of gas than before. Maybe something Abbott or Trump or anyone in office can do something about to even things out would be a positive for sure.
ETA: What you mentioned about Trump trying to cut down on terrorism, etc reminds me of W and all he did, what it didn't accomplish, and what it cost this country through two decades.
