The only other country I'd say different if forced would be Japan.

Don't blame ethanol for high gas prices, the higher ethanol blends are substantially cheaper, with e85 at some coop gas stations being 60% cheaper than non ethanol gas. Get over the engine wear excuse, it's getting old and tired. E30 is all I run, best value for mileage and price.
Trump: For you to pay a TINY little bit more for your gasoline, you're doing it so that a very evil country cannot have a nuclear weapon. Remember that when you’re paying $4. I’ll never apologize. pic.twitter.com/SRdBzE3g4h

Local kwik star gas station is currently 3.99 for non ethanol regular. I can buy e15 (unleaded 88) for 3.29, at that difference in price e15 is the better deal

So far nobody has been able to explain how me paying more for gas is actually keeping Iran from building a nuclear weapon.
On the other hand, I just wrote a very large check for fuel at the ranch which directly factors into why your food prices aren't coming down.

Gas will get cheap again just because people will start driving less and then normal refining capacity will return and there will be an excess of unleaded
Throw in a very likely economic downturn cheaper gas is closer than you think
Remember that at the end of Covid which was a little over 5 years the spot price of crude went Negative
Supply and demand imbalances happen and that's what drive prices

Just filled up. Diesel at $4.99 a gallon. I'm stating to think we will never see low $3 range again.

Gas futures have ticked down to $3.17 this AM. T&P for all of my fellow Americans who cannot afford the extra 17 cents vs. what OP promised them.

If gas prices were only seventeen cents higher than they were the day before Trump attacked Iran, I doubt anyone would care.
That it's still over a dollar and change more than the day before Trump attacked Iran with no end in sight, that could be why folks are still not jumping up and down with joy for where gas prices are at.
