If you are upset about gas prices, you either have raging TDS or you don't understand how short term pain translates to long term safety. I guess everyone here is cool with Iran launching nukes at major Israeli and US cities and military infrastructure. President Trump made the right choice striking Iran and it's not even close.
If Iran is truly that much of an existential threat to the world, why are we half assing our military operation? Strike a few targets, pause for "peace talks". Strike a few targets, declare victory. They launch a few missiles, we say "better not do it again, or else!".

You'd think if they were such a real threat we'd go all in, no?

I'm glad I filled my truck this morning at $3.29/gallon, it was $3.79 when I drove by at lunch.

Also, I get a good laugh every time I see someone calling Big Rob a concerned moderate.

You're ignoring the obvious: Iran still has the same amount of enriched Uranium they did on Day 1; the expired MOU did include downblending, but did not address enrichment infrastructure.

So far it's been a lot of pain for no results preventing a nuclear armed Iran. They can't lob an ICBM, but that was never really the concern. It's always been a dirty bomb through their networks.

You can TDS all you want. This thread was started by LDP two months ago about a return to $3 gas and has been a monumental self-goal since. It wasn't a conversation on pain-to-benefit analysis.

Not if you believe what people are saying online, that it's better for people who make money off the stock market for things to keep making the market go up then down then up then down.

Also, the MIC, like Big Pharma, doesn't make money off final solutions, but when things are perpetual.

$3.29 > $2.99

So, OP still rings false.

And it was $3.299 at spots here in SA over the weekend, too, according to friends. Yesterday.....jumped to $3.799/

this wouldn't happen and it's ludicrous to orient your opinion on the war around the belief that it would

Some of the recent commentary by Republicans is along the lines of while the economy may suck but the Democrat Communists would make it worse! That's the message to win votes, the other party would just do worse!

So ridiculous!

Seems to be a pretty common sentiment here by the usual suspects.

At this point I am not even sure it would be true. If Kamala simply did nothing the economy would be better off. Senile old Biden had gas prices lower than Trump and he was literally asleep.

People forget that high energy costs is a feature not a bug for Dems. They want everybody in those EVs.

People forget what prices were like when Trump took office.

Price for a barrel of oil, 2/1/2025: ~$70
National average gas price, 2/1/2025: $3.12
Inflation, 2/1/2025: 2.8%

Prices were much better ~17 months ago than they are now.

So things under Trump now are worse than when Biden left office and Trump took over?

So much for "so much winning!"

Maybe just two more weeks, or maybe four to six more? Mañana at the latest.

Several million less folks filling up their tanks, competing for groceries, competing for jobs, competing for housing.

I'd call that winning.

In those areas, sure.

I'm the area of the prices of the things the rest of the country (hundreds of millions of folk) is paying for, that's a different story.

It wouldn't happen? They just tried to bungee cord sea mines to ballistic missiles. You actually think they would hesitate to try an attack as soon as they had enough material in the right form to make even a dirty bomb?

That defies all facts and logic. They are asking their Muslim brothers to join forces to eliminate their "enemies" which includes the US. This has been a consistent message for 50 years.

Cmon son.

They didn't "bungee" anything and they weren't trying to use ballistic missiles for that.

From your link.

It's not like they were using a tried and true, reliable state of the art sea mine missile deliver system.

The bungee cord comment is obvious hyperbole, backed up by suspicion on a weapon system for which the only evidence of is Iranian produced videos.

Maybe o am just too skeptical…

Two towers were knocked down in America. In return, we knocked down two countries. Iran was a neighbor to those.

Even if they had the ability, suggesting they would consider a nuclear attack against a major U.S. city as in their best interest is very perplexing.

Fret not, he straight up OWNED the libs earlier today talking about renaming the strait…THAT'S what real patriots want/care about. Only woke libtards care about rising prices. Soooo…the question is: are you a patriot, or do you hate America?
