Trump is right. Gas prices will fall like a rock. Democheats worst nightmare is creeping upon them. Lower gas prices all summer and into the fall that will help the Republicans rebound.

Many Democrats I have conversed with over the last 2-3 months don't mind the Iran operation to end just not too soon. They wanted it to end maybe around October time frame no sooner than August.

They don't want the American people to start feeling good again and affording gas.

There was a half-peeled sticker on a gas pump the other day of Trump saying "I did that" pointing at the price. Gas has fluctuated so much over the past 10 years I had no idea if it was put up to show prices were low or prices were high.

The 300 billion is regional credit we are allowing them to borrow under from other willing Middle East lenders without triggering sanctions, intended for civic and economic development. The UsA is not providing funds. Qatar, UAE, etc might choose to lend. If that becomes part of a final deal…

Wife used one of our friends phone numbers to score a $1/gal discount on premium, bringing it down to $2.75 9/10.

Winning.

They might choose to lend to private companies, not the Iranian regime.

This is Iran opening itself up for foreign direct investment, not lending money to the Iranian regime.

That is a huge qualifier.

Diesel in Washington is $6.21/gal and in California it is $6.75, absolutely unbelievable.

Hawaii even worse!

Some interesting data at that site. Indiana has the cheapest unleaded but a near $2 gap to diesel whereas in most places the delta is under $1.

Surely there is a rational explanation just stuck out to me.

Gas prices need to keep on headed down. Eases pricing pressure across the board.

Before too long, you won't be able to post this anymore as your counter to the gas prices falling down

Hold on, you always tell us that the electorate has a short memory, so if gas drops down more in the coming months, as it should, then the electorate should be happy with that drop from $4 a gallon to $2.80, right?

Or does the electorate just remember last year at $2.20 a gallon and can't handle that its $2.80 a year later?

Which one is it?

Yes, Trump had it lower than it ever was under 4 years of Biden. Good to know.

Only Congress can declare war or so I have been told. So he has not started any new wars. HTH.

First of all the gas prices went down almost immediately as Trump took office number two is no new wars that we couldn't get out of new endless wars so try again. You'll finally come up with something.

Paid
2.88/gal for gas
1.49/dz for eggs
4:35/lb for bacon
This weekend in Texas

Not sure the sources, my AI search says that the price of fuel in Texas June 2025 was about 2.80. In June 2024 it was about 3.10. Eggs were about 4.00/dz last year.

I realize there is likely a price impact wave that hits in the fall based on events happening this spring, but Goldman predicts it will be about 3-4% impact.

If what I just paid this weekend for some staple items in life stays within 5% of what I paid, the Democrats are going to have to run on something else this fall or they will gain fewer seats than they imagine. I realize outrage misinformation is all the rage in social media and that can keep people spun up on issues that they think are impacting everyone else even if they aren't feeling it themselves, but not sure if it's going to have the legs the Dems need to make flips on enough seats to consider anything a wave or mandate type election. I suppose what the GOP has to worry about most is the weird misinformation of the anti-Israel "right". I suppose that splintering off of the coalition will have an impact some of the states and districts where it matters. But I digress, I don't see food and fuel being as big of a story in the fall that democrats have been cheerleading for since the Iran conflict kicked off.

Was it the same station? I know where I live there is still up to 60-80 cent difference between Texaco (always way too high) and Murphy Express.

Also, I know some stations do flex pricing based on day as well as time of day.

Yeah and I haven't Forgotten.

Gas was 1.87 per Gallon at my Kingwood Heb when Joe Xiden Became president in Jan. 2021.
Under his foolish puppet leadership, Gas went to over $4 per gallon at my Heb.

Don't worry, Trump '47 will save us from the Fools once again.

Diesel still high. We have had 3 supplier increases of 7-14% since the war started. Those won't ever go back down, but as long as prices keep falling, the fuel surcharges should fall off Q4.
