That's what they get for trying it in Georgia, say a fellow Ag.

There have many lawyer wannabe posters on Forum 16 over the years. Sometimes entertaining but mostly PITAs.

Fani is hitting all of the stereotypical expectations of the GA Senate.

She is just as defensive and combative as she was when she demanded to testify about her affair with her employee, Nathan Wade. And talked about how much of her "campaign cash" she kept hanging around her house.

What a dumb b****!

Fani dindu nuffin and Fani don't remember nuffin. She did ask earlier how many folks in "This here room have called her the N Word."

He billed 160 hours for one week? 24-7 totals 168 hours.

Isn't the rule something like - if you work on the case for 1 minute, you charge a minimum of 0.25 hours?

Depends on the firm's billing practices. We billed in minimum of ten minute increments. But can always adjust the bills before they are sent out.

Example: I may have a three minute phone call with opposing counsel and expect we will continue further discussion. So I'd enter that first phone call as ten minutes but if it later turned out we didn't speak again during that billing period, I'd delete the ten minutes while still listing that the call occurred. N/C.

And I have attended depositions out of town that required an overnight stay but I wouldn't bill for the entire 24 hours, just the hours I was working.

The big problem with how Wade billed the county was lack of any detail as to the type of work being "performed" during that time period. An 8 hour phone call? Guess it is possible but unrealistic.

Probably approved by an auto-pen.

Apparently she later said she meant to say "hours per month."

Not what the bill he submitted said. And then she misspoke about a dozen times, on the records, under oath, if that had been a mistake.

She is so dumb. But compared to her 24 year tenured predecessor, she only needed to dress well and sound somewhat articulate. He set that bar inches above ground.

BTW, the handbag Fanni was carrying into the hearing room was a new Louis Vuitton bag from the Spring/Summer collection of this year.

It costs $11,000.00 minimum even if one can actually find one. It might be a knock-off and if it were an older bag, I would just assume it was. Of course a DA owning counterfeit goods still should raise a few eyebrows.

Is it relevant to this thread that Georgia has now admitted 315k early votes were never certified from the 2020 election? Seems relevant. Seems like Georgia was stolen since Biden only won by ~11k votes.

Quote:

Ann Brumbaugh, attorney for the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections, told the SEB in the hearing that while she has "not seen the tapes" herself, the county does "not dispute that the tapes were not signed." Brumbaugh continued, "It was a violation of the rule. We, since 2020, again, we have new leadership and a new building and a new board and a new standard operating procedures. And since then the training has been enhanced. … But … we don't dispute the allegation from the 2020 election."

Georgia's Secretary of State Office investigated the alleged failure to sign tabluation tapes and "substantiated" the findings that Fulton County "violated Official Election Record Document Processes when it was discovered that thirty-six (36) out of thirty-seven (37) Advanced Voting Precincts in Fulton County, Georgia failed to sign the Tabulation Tapes as required [by statute]," according to a 2024 investigation summary. In addition to probing the unsigned tabulation tapes, the investigation also found that officials at 32 polling sites failed to verify their zero tapes.

Well, signing those tapes would be perjury if it was discovered that there was cheating, so I'm quite sure that was done to avoid felony charges...

Nah. She's too arrogant to ever think she is infallible. And she believes scamming the system is just SOP in Fulton County as her predecessor was openly corrupt was reelected to the point he was in that position for 24 years. So she believes she should get away with it like he did.
