Your post just further proves my point. It is clear you have found your narrative and have bought in to the spin, hyperbole, etc. As such, it is pointless to debate, but since there are others reading this thread who are interested in looking at this critically.

Armed means more than just firearms,
While this is a true statement, the dems and media know there are a large number of people who automatically default to armed = carrying a gun and they are fine with that as a gun elicits a greater emotional response than a rock or a stick.

the committee has provided substantial evidence establishing the following:
President Trump engaged in a massive effort to knowingly spread false and fraudulent information to the American public claiming the 2020 election was stolen from him
There is an entire thread of information and evidence to the contrary, but again, no point in going there here because you are dug int and believe everything was on the up and up in 2020.

President Trump planned to replace the Acting Attorney General, so that the Department of Justice would support his fake election claims.
First, he didn't think they were false claims and he couldn't get the courts or the DOJ to investigate. Why would he not look to replace Barr....to see what his options to force someone to investigate the claims instead of just running the clock out? There is no way that he would have been able to remove him and get someone confirmed, so this was Trump trying to find relief via whatever mechanism possible.

President Trump pressured Vice President Pence to refuse to count certified electoral votes in violation of the US Constitution and the law.
This was John Eastman who came up with this and argued the VP authority in ECA and 12th amendment
Quote:
Eastman argued that when seven states changed election rules to meet the challenges of the covid-19 pandemic, that qualified as voter fraud. Because Michigan shipped absentee ballots out rather than required voters apply for them, for example, the legitimacy of the state's vote tally should come under question.
He then asserted that the 12th Amendment granted the "President of the Senate" (then Vice President Mike Pence) sole authority to certify electoral votes
If the VP is simply a rubber stamp whatever he/she is given, then why require the process? On this point, I do not agree with Eastman completely. At most, I think the power would only be able to kick it back to the individual State to have their court determine if it meets their requirements/laws.
Quote:
President Trump pressured state election officials, and state legislators, to change election results
Misrepresentation and disingenuous. He pressured them to investigate the fraud. When he said, "find the votes" and "all I need is X amount" it was not him saying submit X number of false votes and declare me winner. It was he only needed to prove there was at least X amount of fraud to prove his point.

President Trump summoned and assembled a mob in Washington and directed them to march on the US Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power, knowing they were armed
Spin and hyperbole. The "mob" he summoned were US citizens to "protest" the results. SMH

The idea that the evidence is limited to one unvetted, second hand, hearsay witness is as bizarre and far-fetched as the notion that, in this day and age, the evidence would be clearly presented on every webpage, TV channel and newspaper
it isn't bizarre and far-fetched, it is a strawman argument. The argument is....with all of this definitive proof of a coordinated coop/insurrection you speak of, the "bomb-shell" turned out to be a second-hand, hearsay witness whose testimony was fabricated and not true.
If there was all this evidence which was proof positive a coordinated insurrection had taken place, there would have been no need to call that witness. The reason she was called was SPECIFICALLY because the "evidence" they have falls miles short of the narrative they have spun....just like the Mueller investigation, the Ukraine call, the Dossier, etc etc etc. ...and what did the dems do in those cases? They doubled down, manufactured, and spun. Seriously. I listened to the Trump call and I read the transcript of the call. I then listened to Schiff's made-up version. It is what they do when the facts don't match the narrative.
