So since it looks like a handful of us are watching when it drops... anyone have any speculations for the finale? This is one of the few shows that I haven't tried to learn more to avoid spoilers, I only watch episode breakdowns on current episodes.

I predict we get an Empire Strikes Back-like ending where the bad guys wreck shop and we go into the offseason with things looking grim.
In particular, I bet the dark troopers show off that they're made of Beskar and are indestructible unless you have a Beskar spear.

i will say, I hope they let Grogu go after this current arc (yeah, I know it will not happen.).
he is not a character. he is a plot device.
A literal MacGuffin the main characters (both protagonists and antagonists) are always chasing after.
If he is not going to be an actual character in his own right, it is time to let him move on.

I would be shocked if whoever the Jedi is answers Grogu's ForceTime call this episode. My guess is that's a big season three reveal. Then again, Grogu making that call with three episodes left felt... purposeful? If only because I wrongly predicted the ForceTime call would be the season two cliffhanger, and I was surprised how soon after the idea was introduced by Ahsoka that we were there basically the very next scene at the first of the next episode. As if the writers *needed* to get there fast, so that there was enough time left in the season for someone to answer by the finale.
That said, Bo-Katan returns for sure, and I'm 50/50 on Ahsoka returning this episode.

I think it is 100% because you do not have either of those characters be a one-off in a season like this. plus they have to spin off Ahsoka "properly". Which is why I assume if there is a Jedi it will be Ezra.
I'm not saying she won't show up this episode, but I feel like Ahsoka was properly setup for her spinoff with her Thrawn line. That's really all we need. That, and it felt like there was reason Mando went his way and she went hers at episode's end. She's gonna go do her show and Mando's gonna do his.

I'll be pissed if it's freaking Ezra.
I don't know as much of the expanded universe lore as a lot of people on this thread do; but the Ahsoka episode felt like a one-off appearance.

I'm hoping we get a post credits scene at the site of the Force antenna stone hedge, and whoever it is just walks around a bit John Travolta style.
Sooo light sabers can't hurt other light sabers... or beskar... is that the same with beskar vs beskar... can't anything damage a light saber or beskar?
Pretty sure I"m staying up to watch this one. If I sleep beforehand, I'll never wake up in time.

Agreed. To me it felt very distinctly, "Have fun on your adventure, Mando. I have to go star in my own series now."
