I still don't think Palpatine should have fought with a lightsaber at all. If he's the dark master, he should have been throwing those guys out of windows and smashing them into floors and ceilings. I appreciate Mace giving him a fight because of who Sam Jackson is, but it should have been force powers, not laser swords.

Sith using lightsabers was always kinda meh. In ROTJ, the Emperor even refers to it a little dismissively as a "Jedi weapon." Vader used one because he WAS a Jedi.
Agree that Palps should have used the Dark Side in other ways, and not just smashing people around. When he let loose he should have been like poison in the Force. Maybe he bends a couple of the other Masters to his will, for example. Brought their fear and doubt to the surface. Really blindsided them in such ways.
