Ironically today's item in the Lego Star Wars advent calendar was the Razorcrest.

First time I've had one require zero assembly.

I fully expect to see Ahsoka return for the rescue of Grogu. We need to see the dark troopers demonstrate their lightsaber-proof Beskar armor to register a high level of "Oh S***!" And display what formidable opponents they are.
Thanks and gig'em

Anybody interested in a Mando Texas Patch?

That would be a Fett patch.

Din's sigil is the mud horn

This is actually Fett's sigil.

The Mythosaur Skull is a Mandalorian (Mando) symbol....

Why would Burr's character want to help him?

Probably being freed from prison would be good motivation

Also, a lot of focus on what Jedi will come looking for Grogu to train him, since that's what Ahsoka said.
What are the chances it's a dark side user that comes for him? He did have a blue aura around him, so that makes it seem like it was a light side of the force only communication thing

Also, I know people feel tired of Original Trilogy characters and people tied to them....but what about just recasting Luke and/or Leia and one of them pops up in the show?

Problem with Luke or Leia taking him is you'll have to explain where he was during the st and why he wasn't helping them.

He should disconnect from the force and reconnect in 50 years. Then he'll see that there is a palpatine girl running around and go destroy her.

Turning it off and on again. Why not? Works for everything else

IF (and that's a big IF) they were to go this route....here's what I think happens...and this would be the very end of the series

Grogu is being trained with Luke and the other Jedi....along with Ben.....and is killed whilst trying to save other Jedi (or even Luke himself) while Ben is going all dark side on their asses

Could even get crazier and have Snoke trying to influence Grogu first and him resisting

I don't know I highly highly doubt they do this but the ideas it brings up to tie in the beginnings of the FO is pretty interesting

Thinking about the team. Bill Burr was an imperial officer, his utility is not his third hand

If you want to go with the main theme of the entire saga...

At the end....Grogu will sacrifice himself for the greater good in a desperate, yet offensive to fanboys vanishing type way.

The novelizations of TFA and TLJ do mention Snoke having other apprentices that failed before finding Ben Solo. Still going with the ET Phone Home ending of the other Yoda species members finding him, perhaps even being the deux ex machina that saves them all from the Empire, sort of like what happened in the Zahn book Vision of the Future when Talon Karrde finally finds his mentor Jorj Cardas on Exocron.

I've gone back a couple pages and may have missed it....why didn't he grab is jetpack when the troopers first appeared? Basically the only thing this season that hasn't worked for me.

I think it would help out the show if they did go this route. An A plot and a B plot would make the show even better.

My main problem with this show is that I have to remind myself that it's rated PG, so it's not intended for my age group. Although maturity level is a different story.

More than anything from this show, this is what I want. I don't care what the B story is, we just need to cut away from Mando and his plight every so often. I can't think of a single, modern television series that follows only *one* storyline, and there's a reason for that. It not only helps the pacing, but it allows for more creative/engaging/dramatic editing, which, in turn, result in better story telling. That said, they've at least started cutting away to Gideon on his star destroyer three or four times this season, which helps. But yeah, they need full-on A and B (if not C and D) stories, which would go such a long way toward making the show even better.

Theory from some random dude that I'm mainly posting for a laugh. That said, outside of the obvious subject of the video, there's a rumor he touches on that MIGHT be considered a spoiler, but it's all conjecture, so I don't think it's even worth the warning...

Don't have the chance to watch the video as I'm posting this, but want to say with what TCW series added to all the characters (including Jar Jar) im completely down with him showing up as a character or having a prior history or connection to the plot of Mandalorian.

If they decide to do anything with jar jar they'll do it right. Plus I'd love for the actor who voiced him (I think he caught a lot of unnecessary flack for his role) to get another shot and get some love from fans

I feel the exact same way. I'd more than welcome a Jar Jar redemption story in the more-than-capable hands of Favreau and Filoni.

There's a leak that an updated cgi Naboo starfighter (yellow and silver fighter from Ep. 1) was in the works at Lucasfilm for Mando season 3. If that's the case than Naboo looks like one of the planets we'll see next season.

In the Aftermath books (deals with years immediately after the Battle of Endor), Jar Jar is a street performer in Theed, capital of Naboo. If Naboo is one of the planets in season 3, Jar Jar has a definite possibility on being in the show.

Ha, man, that would be wild. Regardless, I actually love the idea of going back to Naboo, Jar Jar or no Jar Jar..

I may have mentioned this once or twice (or repeatedly) in Star Wars threads over the years, but seeing young badass Jedi Luke on screen is all I've really wanted from Star Wars since 1983. Judging by the reaction to TLJ, I don't think I'm alone in this.

If Luke is the one who finds him, he can wreck shop, decide it's best not to train the angry little guy, and drop him off at planet Yoda. And Disney can have all my ****ing money.

He's already in the Disney family, and absolutely looks the part, so I'm all for it.

I know people complain when it feels like Star Wars is too small when this stuff happens but if Luke were to show up, et all other familiar characters, I am fine with it. We don't complain when Game of Thrones feels too small, or other stuff. It works for me.

I just wanted to say this. I was put in a bad position earlier this year where I lost my job. I moved back home with my parents at their insistence and I finally got to move back to Texas after 8 years. I luckily started a job a month ago (virtually) and will move to Dallas in January. I have had the childlike joy of watching Mando and Star Trek Discovery with my dad for the last 2 months sitting next to each other. This connection with him on two franchises we belove and get to share in this experience is incredible in real time. Not over a phonecall but as the episode airs.

Not gonna, lie. It sucks losing my job due to everything going on, but I got to move back to Texas and got to really enjoy these experiences with my dad.

Feels like the digital face CGI is getting better by the month. Wonder if ILM might try to pull off a few short shots of Luke if that's all that was needed.
