I'd love to know how many folks scooted up to the computer screen in order to see, and identify the snake.

I'd say it took me about 15 to 16 seconds to see him.

To me they are so much easier to see in nature than on a computer screen. Plus in places like our property I just more alert. Also I normally have my kids or nephews with me that don't have the experience that I have had looking out for them

I had to open in on my phone and zoom in.


I still cant see it one computer!

I can usually spot snakes pretty quickly, but then I've specifically gone out to look for them and have an eye for it.

I've also stepped on or almost stepped on snakes I did not see, but usually, I was preoccupied with giving a hike, etc.

Damn!

After pic 1, I haven't found any of them. But, work is getting in the way of my hunt.

It's under the board just to the up and left of the small rock in the bottom right.

The third one gave me trouble, but the rest were relatively easy to find. They were sitting where you'd expect a snake to be.

Edit... My bad, I thought you were asking where it was in the picture.

For penance I will post the solution key.

I've always really like this one as an example of copperhead's camo because most of the snake is exposed but it's still so hard to see

Ok, I copied the picture to my desktop and magnified it several times and finally see it. That thing is tiny.

Juvenile Nerodia erythrogaster possibly PBWS subspecies, but the juveniles of all the subspecies look very similar.
