Why wouldn't the Governor of Georgia be able to pardon him?

the most ironic thing of all:

is that Trump because he is such a @$#@#$ completely slandered and worked to defeat Georgia Governor Kemp the last several years...

no way will Kemp pardon him now.

another 5D stable genius chess move!
Not sure if your TDS stands for Trump Derangement Syndrome or Trolling Dysthymia Syndrome, none the less I'll leave that to the experts, however Georgia is one of the four states (Georgia, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah) whose governor does not have the authority to grant clemency, although the governor retains indirect influence by virtue of his power to appoint the members of State Board of Pardons and Paroles the part of the executive branch of Georgia's government, that are the only constitutionally authorized body with the power to grant paroles, pardons, reprieves, remissions, commutations, and to restore civil and political rights. So regardless of how anyone feels about Kemp, he's powerless to simply Pardon 45. However Kemp signed a law less than a month ago that lets a state commission begin operating with powers to discipline and remove prosecutors, and that commission has Willis under review as we speak.
Better late than never with the correct answer.

President Joe Biden's Justice Department has uncovered "inconsistencies" in Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis's use of federal grant funds, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.

The bombshell discovery comes two years after Willis fired a whistleblower who had warned the district attorney that her office was attempting to misuse a $488,000 federal grant to pay for "swag," computers, and travel. It's that same grant that the Justice Department's Office of Justice Programs now says is plagued with reporting discrepancies from Willis's office, errors that federal authorities only disclosed to the Free Beacon after providing contradictory statements regarding awards Willis's office may have made under the grant...

The Justice Department did not provide any further details on the nature of Willis's reporting "inconsistencies" on the $488,000 federal grant, which was earmarked for the creation of a Center for Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention in Atlanta. The grant ended in September 2023, but the center never opened.

Such a racist wotld in which a Black district attorney isn't allowed to use a $488,000 grant as her personal slush fund. I mean, she's Black so she always has to have $100,000 or so in cash at home in the lockbox her dad gave her… now tell me where she's supposed to get that cash on a civil servant's salary.

Nathan Wade is pleading poverty since losing his prosecutor role in the Donald Trump election fraud case and trying to avoid paying his estranged wife alimony, new court papers show.

Wade forced to step down as special prosecutor in the Georgia case following the revelation of his affair with District Attorney Fani Willis says he can no longer afford to honor the terms of a temporary agreement he reached with wife Joycelyn Wade less than three months ago, according to the filing.

"With the income from [Wade's] employement as the Special Prosecutor no longer coming in, and with income from [his] private practice being diminished, [he] is no longer able to … meet the financial obligations set forth in the temporary order," Wade's divorce lawyer M. Scott Kimbrough wrote in papers filed Monday.
Quote:

During the investigation into his affair, it was revealed he had made over $700,000 while working for the DA, and had spent thousands on lavish trips for himself and Fani to the Caribbean, Central America and California.

However, he is now seeking an emergency hearing to lower his spousal support, expenses and the financial obligations he agreed to pay Joycelyn in a temporary settlement reached Jan. 30 in the Cobb County divorce case.

Wade's filing comes in response to Joycelyn, his wife of more than 20 years, accusing him last week of refusing to pay child support for their two kids, money for rent and for her urgent medical procedures.

She claimed she spent all her money which she would have used for much-needed surgery on their son and daughter after Wade abruptly cut them off, telling them to "get the money from your mother," the papers claimed.
Quote:

Wade broke his promise to help financially support his son's bid to go pro as a soccer player in Europe, to pay for his daughter's rent and support her as she prepares for medical college admissions exams, Joycelyn claimed.

Joycelyn's attorneys even asked a judge to throw Wade behind bars until he forks over the money he owes.

Emerald Robinson at The Absolute Truth on Frank Speech reported late Friday that the long awaited report from an investigation (SEB2023-025) into errors found in both the hand count & a machine count from the 2020 presidential election in Fulton County is officially on the agenda for a May 7th State Election Board meeting.
I have been watching the Rossi investigation for quite awhile now. He has had several scheduled public meetings with the Elections Board to present his findings (which they already know) cancelled at the last minute with no explanation.

Quote:

Emerald spoke with Joseph Rossi this week.

Emerald Robinson: It looks like a new subpoena to the Secretary of State's office as part of the Fannie Willis RICO case, might just force the board's hand. Here to give us all the details as the source of these developments, Mr. Joe Rossi, who is the concerned citizen investigator who prompted the investigation into the discrepancies in the 2020 election count in Fulton County, Georgia. Joe, it's good to see you. Tell us what you're learning.
Joe Rossi: …As of last night, I also learned that it is now going to be on the agenda for the May seventh State Election Board hearing. As you may recall, as you mentioned, it got pulled at the last minute. It was noted as complete with violations found. It was pulled at the last minute before the December 19th hearing. And then for reasons, I don't know why, it never got put on the February hearing. But now it looks like Between the subpoena or other pressures, it looks like it's going to finally be on the agenda, or at least we hope so, for the May seventh SEB hearing. That's the status of the hearing.
Emerald Robinson: Just a reminder, our viewers, now we're talking about defendants in the Fannie Willis RICO case. There were 18 defendants along with Donald J. Trump. We don't know which one of those defendants has subpoenaed the Secretary of State's office, but look, it's relevant. This report is relevant to pretty much every defendant's case who has not yet pleaded guilty or done some deal with the county. This machine count, the count cannot be reconciled with the recount on December third. You know, you had heard before the meeting was scheduled in December that it shows that there were errors, and it points to errors, lies, and a cover up, correct?…
Here's the full interview.

Would be funny if the Fani Willis case is the reason the years long coverup fails.

"In Johnson's qualification paperwork she listed her home address as being in DeKalb County and wrote that she had been a legal resident of neighboring Fulton County for "0 consecutive years." The qualification paperwork Johnson signed includes a line that says the candidate is "an elector of the county of my residence eligible to vote in the election in which I am a candidate."

Another lawyer in Georgia completely ignoring the law. Unless she gets to define "county of my residence" in the same manner that Nathan Wade defines "marriage."

Have you not considered how pissed off the WH is that they handed her an eight-week show trial with a state conviction to her on a silver platter (see Jeff DiSantis' transfer, crafting of indictment, selection of grand jury, etc.) and she STILL couldn't control her hormones/race rage and ****ed it up?

Georgia's State Board of Elections is to hear evidence Tuesday (May 7) at 9:30 a.m.

There are three items involving Fulton County in which the SBOE's Investigations team has found evidence that supports the referral of the matter to the state attorney general.

SEB2022-137 Fulton County (Campaigning Within 150 Feet) 38
SEB2022-211 Fulton County (AB Fraud) 41
SEB2023-025 Fulton County (Tabulator Results 2020 General Election) 42

This was supposed to be heard in December, but it was wiped off the agenda -- presumably by Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. .

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis came under the spotlight again on Friday.

A Georgia state senate Special Committee held its third hearing looking into allegations of potential conflicts of interest and potential misuse of public funds by her. The Committee was formed after the multiple scandals that broke over Willis' relationship with her special prosecutor in the Trump election case Nathan Wade.
Quote:

Among the things they have been looking into payments in regard to Nathan Wade with whom she admitted she had a relationship. The senators grilled financial officers on Friday about the use of the funds.
Quote:

Republican Sen. Bill Cowsert asked financial officers about numerous "enhancement requests" for extra money Willis has made, including one for roughly a million dollars in 2023 for general trial expenses.

Fulton County Chief Financial Officer Sharon Whittmore said the amount was made as a "lump sum, not specific with line item details," to explain what it would be used for, according to the Washington Examiner.

Cowsert said he was trying to "get a feeling for exactly how much oversight," there was in the office, adding it "sounds like it's very loose as far as employment practices and expenditures for independent contractors."

Quote:

"She's a key part of the investigation and her viewpoints are valued by us. We need to hear what she has to say and her explanation and what she thinks the appropriate rules ought to be going forward so that we don't have this kind of scandal giving Georgia a black eye in the future," said Cowsert.
Quote:

Willis did not attend the hearing but responded, claiming, "They can look all they want. The DA's office has done everything according to the books."

"Isn't it interesting when we've got a bunch of African American DAs, now we need daddy to tell us what to do," Willis also said while in attendance at a community event on Friday.

If the board finds that Fulton County violated Georgia election law then they will impose fines, issue a reprimand and refer the allegations to the Attorney General's office for prosecution

The board could also takeover elections in Fulton County

Yeah, well, the way the election was conducted in Fulton County broke law after law after law but -- hey, trust us -- it was ONLY 3,000 ballots and we CAN'T FIND 17,000 ballots but it didn't affect the outcome.

Quote:

The State Election Board reprimanded Fulton County and ordered an independent election monitor Tuesday, finding that the county likely scanned over 3,000 ballots twice during the recount of the 2020 presidential election.

The decision, on a 2-1 vote, resolves one of the last remaining investigations of the 2020 election, drawing jeers from a crowd of Republican voters who wanted more severe punishment against the Democratic county.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Georgia secretary of state's office has determined Fulton County used improper procedures during its 2020 presidential election recount.
During a Georgia state elections board meeting on Tuesday, Charlene McGowan, general counsel for the secretary of state's office, said, "The conclusion of this investigation ... is that Fulton County used improper procedures during the recount of the presidential contest in 2020."
McGowan stressed the investigation's outcome doesn't change the election's overall outcome, an election that saw Joe Biden become the first Democrat since 1992 to carry any deep Southern state on his way to ousting his Oval Office predecessor, Donald Trump.
