A excellent episode. Makes up for the last few snoozers.
That scene with the calvary charging at Jon was pretty badass. That whole action sequence was well done.

That was one of the best battle scenes ever. With the nature of the show you never know what can happen so it makes it that much better.
Also +1 to Jon having some sort of power now or there was some sort of intervention by the lord of light, or the god of death, or by somebody.

Every bit of that episode was just great.
The dragons.
The slavers getting effed up.
Dany and yara.
Davos finding the elk.
The battle.
Karstark getting totally effed up.

Was Yara's line to Dany "I am up for anything"
I waited until the finish of game 7 to start the episode...I don't know how on earth I am going to sleep tonight.
The scene and dialogue between Dany and the Greyjoys was great....but the battle of Winterfell will go down in television history as one of the greatest scenes ever. I can't imagine what the budget was like on that. I'm repeating what others have already said but that rivals the landing during Saving Private Ryan. It was just pure raw, intensity from the moment with Rickon to the moment Jon beat the **** out of Ramsay. Sansa's walk away was great, I'm really glad she has turned the corner as a character. I absolutely loathed Ramsay, but man that guy could freaking act.
For me that was easily the best episode of GoT I've ever seen. If the finale is half as good as tonight was I think we will all be happy next Sunday.

I think Littlefinger wants to be king of the 7 kingdoms and to marry Sansa since he didn't get to marry Catelynn.
If you have a force that inferior in numbers, a frontal infantry attack just seems dumb, especially if arrows as artillery can instill that much damage to your ranks. I was kind of hoping for some better tactics than a Picket's charge there from the combined brains of Tormund, Jon and Davos.
Jon and the shield vs Ramsey was pretty badass. But the scenes I'm looking forward to rewatching are in Mereen with Dany and the dragons.
