Or to again stop someone from destroying King's Landing with wildfire.
quote:excellent analysis.
A mediocre GoT is still better than most television. Not a great episode at all though.
NOT SO GREAT
Much of it felt as forced as a joke from Grey Worm or as awkward as a wave from Jamie to Brienne. Even Danny hopping off her Uber dragon ride and popping in the top of the pyramid. The Hound negotiating to gut the captives seemed kinda off. Sorry, way too much wrong with the Arya scenes the last few weeks. The guy ordering his troops to lay down was so anticlimatic. Had they done that a few hours before they could have joined Sansa and Snow's army. Instead, it just kinda stalled the plot.
UNDERSTANDABLE PLOT ACTIONS
The Tommen scenes were obviously setting up some major Cersei actions.
Varys is sneaking off to make something happen.
GOOD STUFF
The Hound, The Mountain, Jamie / Brinenne negotiations. Blackfish was as expected.
quote:Thats what I keep thinking. Based on the last episode he is going North right?
The Hound will play a big part in something before it's all said and done. Otherwise there's no reason to bring him back.
quote:Ya the Hound isn't the best looking fellow on the show. But his character has come a long ways I think. Ya he still has the violence, but it seems he has found some peace and found a way to suppress it a bit. Just based on his time at the "church". Helping build it and sort of improving himself as a person.
That's just gross and would be a total disservice to Arya's character.
quote:"There is no reason to be alive if you can't do deadlift"
Disappointed I can't read the quote on his calf tattoo. Inspirational tattoos always change my life.

quote:It's set up for him to join that brotherhood gang. They are allies with the Starks. Maybe Jon is going to build his army rag-tag style.quote:Thats what I keep thinking. Based on the last episode he is going North right?

quote:I think that her putting an heir in him would actually be more alarming.
Has anyone taken a stab at Margeary's angle here?
Of course she hates Cersei but it sounds like she is going to turn on Tommen too. Not putting an heir in him should be quite alarming. Is the Tyrell army still on standby?

I haven't been able to figure out Marg not wanting to get preggo. Shouldn't she be angling to get her kid on the throne? After all, she wants to be the Queen.
quote:So she prefers to lose all power with the death of Tommen? Not getting it.quote:

Cuz it worked so well for Cersei.

quote:about as crazy as it would be to recycle the same story line currently going on in kings landing where someone is/was married to a baratheon and gets preggo by incest....
How crazy would it be if Marg wants dear old brother to knock her up?

Not to rehash the Arya discussion but I thought for sure lady Crane was going to make a comment that she should join there crew (she did) but make a comment that she looked like the real Arya Stark.
