This isn't really inside baseball, but have been on a call today with a former judge and current candidate for Harris Co. District Court.
It would be malfeasance if the Harris Co. GOP does not have a billboard/TV spot/yard sign/etc. media effort with some variation of a "Miss me yet? Vote Harris County REPUBLICAN Judges!" campaign.
- Unlike last time, all races will have a Republican candidate.
- The only straight white male democrat civil district judge is facing primary opponents from the same group that tossed out moderate democrat incumbents on the criminal side last go around. Expect some more Black Girl Magic.
- Democrat civil judicial candidates are very concerned that because there is no distinction on the ballot between "civil" and "criminal" judicial candidates, that they will be guilty by association in the eyes of voters.

I've got this earthshaking idea- let's get the high powered lights, put them up on really tall poles, then scatter them throughout town to make it feel safer. We could call the moon towers.
After that, I have another incredible idea about using trains as the future of travel around town.

Usually 2 out of 4 sodium lights replaced by blue/black LED. Dont know if they had a purpose or typically government lowest bidder quality.

Holy **** is right. I hope any of that display by Dora was caught on camera.
The Czar exposes the appalling behavior of Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg at the funeral of Fallen Constable Charles Galloway. As bad as her actions were she wasn't the worst actor. That distinction goes to Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.
If what he says is true it makes Dora even worse in my eyes, which I didn't even know was possible.
Watching the funeral yesterday, there were 3 officers and Dan Patrick at first.
All of a sudden there was Little Girl standing next to Ted Heap. She had no business standing there.
