Our road record is insane. And our home record is the worst by far out of the playoff teams. Very weird. Also one of the o my teams with a better road record than him record (and ours is much better). The others are bottom dwellers who don't have many wins.

They go in enough that it helps him create a lot of space. I agree he goes through periods of nearly every game where he tries to shoot himself hot but overall even the threat of the three is huge for the rest of his game.
agree that the threat of the three helps him create more space and drive with more ease. But he's taking over 9 3s per game and is only shooting 32%. That's really bad. And the low percentage is becuase basically all of his 3s are step back threes with a defender in his face. That's such a tough shot.
He's 6th in the leage in 3 pointers attempted. And his 32% is well below everyone in the top 20 besides Bradley Beal. Everyone else is at least 36% and many are 39-40% plus. I'd like to see him cut back on some of the step back 3s. Get his attempts down to 6-7 per game, and I think that would make his percentage go up a little.
It's probably tough for him because we don't have many playmakers, so he doesn't get many opportunities to shoot open 3s off of a pass from another playmaker. So if he's going to shoot 3s, which everyone wants to do, he usually has to create them himself.

I mean, his VORP is nearly 5 and his offensive plus/minus is 10 doing what he's doing. I don't have a problem with the volume of 3s he's taking. I'd rather he shot 35%+ like Harden, but I wouldn't necessarily say he needs to take fewer attempts because like someone said above, he hits enough of them for people to worry about the step back, and that leads to FT attempts and opportunities to drive or pass.
