Southgate will be criticized for his penalty taker choices until the end of time. Two extremely late subs and young Saka didn't deliver. Wish Saka could have delivered.

Yea, I was discussing that before the PKs. You can definitely take quality PKs without any sort of warming up or anything, but it's really hard to get your mind up to the intensity of the moment fresh off the bench.wangus12 said:

You had Shaw, Sterling, Grealish, Stones, Rice etc. Could've kept Henderson on. All with vastly more experience at that level. Granted those guys should have stepped up to take it or demand to take it

Henderson's track record from the spot eliminated him.
My guess would be, when they do training, that those 3 players have a much higher conversion rate. They would also consider their past club conversion rate.wangus12 said:
