How do they make these brackets?

Group A and F are really difficult based on FIFA world rankings.

Group C is relatively low quality.

Group B and D are pretty light minus their lone high seed.

Group E is pretty even.

They had a lot of weird rules in place. Most of it was based on the Euro Qualifying results and FIFA rankings, but they also had stipulations for host nations as well as prevented matchups. For instance, Ukraine and Russia couldn't be in the same group because those nations are trying to kill each other in real life.

ETA I thought it was good work by the ref to diffuse it and not let it get there.

1st yellow: weak ass yellow, should not have been given

The he gets pulled down by Hernandez causing his leg to fling up. You cannot convince me that it was intentional from what we saw. There was no extension aside from being slammed down by Lucas.

I missed halftime replays....I think Kimmich def intended to swing his leg up for contact but feels like, if i saw it correctly, he was semi slammed to the ground....if you slam someone to ground then you maybe deserve to be kicked.....but i want to see the contact just prior to the kick to make sure i saw that right.

Because they want to see the result and then call it. Then VAR can override it. It didn't need EPL micro lines to see it was offside.

I couldn't tell when the flag went up vs. it being realized by the referee vs. Mbappe realizing it wasn't going to be allowed.
