Man he's so much Roman in real life it's funny. When he says **** you for making me say da bomb you ******* I could easily hear Roman saying it.
He pounded those wings like a champ.

It's an experience that unfortunately too many people go through, but they sure nailed the pure chaos and range of emotions that come from losing a loved one to something sudden. Especially with the money everyone in this episode could lose. That's an experience none of us will know.
Not sure I've ever seen a death depicted like that in a TV show or movie.
Brilliant episode.
’Til the bitter end.

My wife doesn't watch Succession. After the episode I literally told her the same thing. Every other show is with a major character when they die. With this show, like real life, it starts with the phone call.Bones08 said:

Connor's Wedding is up there with The Suitcase, The Rains of Castamere, and Ozymandias for all time great TV episodes. That was incredible.

Just starting the episode, but just wanted to say how funny it is to me for some reason that this episode is called "Connor's Wedding". The episode titles have never been this matter of fact.

I liked how they made his death very anticlimactic and completely inconvenient in terms of timing. No build up, no bells and whistles, no last stirring monologue. He's there and then he's not. It's brilliant writing because that's exactly how death is the vast majority of the time, unfortunately.
They wanted the audience to mainline straight, no BS reality. I think they pulled it off really well.
this episode of SUCCESSION is going to go down in history as one of the best episodes in modern TV history, the kind that defines what the series has always been about while capturing the raw humanity of the deeply flawed, broken people that are the Roy Family. I’m still reeling.

i've lived through something vaguely similar to what goes down in this episode of SUCCESSION, and I've never seen this scenario so vividly, credibly and chaotically captured in the minutia of micro-behavior and helplessness. it rocked me to the bone.

this paragraph right here. it feels exactly like it does to get that call about a loved one- it feels like sudden immobility while everything around you keeps turning, and you still have to think on your feet. the entire episode just absolutely nails that feeling. https://t.co/wFPrXdcekQ pic.twitter.com/Cy3PLrJJf8

That felt like a mini three episode season and season four begins now. God tier television.

This episode was a perfect symphony. Everyone working in tandem to create this devastating harmony of panic, confusion & grief.

Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen & the cast gave us a masterclass. I’ve never seen anything like it. #Succession pic.twitter.com/D6xOnxPrcj

With one *possible* exception, #Succession did the thing that it did tonight with more honesty/accuracy/humor than any other single episode of TV that I've ever seen. I don't usually play the, "All the Emmys!" game. But... All the Emmys. #SuccessionHBO
