Him being a Moff (or former Moff), makes me think that he has personal experience with Force sensitive beings and recognizes the potential of BY.

I thought the IG unit would actually save the day. So much for that. I don't know if it killed the dude though since it was originally programmed to kill the baby it failed to do that.

That's a good theory.
Anyone else think their plan to kill the client was a bit amateurish for a team of professional killers? If they wanted the guy dead rather than go inside with the kid risking his capture why wouldn't they just wait until the client shows his face outside and snipe the guy from a distance?

This is what I'm hoping for. IG-11 comes in guns blazing. No way Kuill is dead right? The kid can heal him if he is still clinging to life.
It's been mentioned (I think by TC) that Mando seems to be both great and terrible at his job

For that matter, Mando should have never agreed. It was an obvious trap.
I'm betting IG-11 flies in on the ship guns blazing. Mando said the ship's defenses could handle anything the planet could throw at it, and we've established droids can be crazy good pilots.

The first truly great episode, IMO, one that finally delivered on the promise of the series.
Deborah Chow definitely brought the goods, and I can't wait to see what she does with Obi-Wan.
I was also surprised to see a somewhat significant set-up for TROS, not in terms of plot, but in terms of... ability, if you know what I mean. No doubt, there was some synergy there, which is pretty interesting.
Speaking of directors, next week's finale is helmed by the one and only Taika Waititi (who has also been voicing IG-11).
