So is this like Boba's grandpa or something?

I think he actually spoke in the Celebration footage from April, but I could be wrong. That said, I *have* heard that we hardly see Pedro Pascal's face. Some rumors say he never takes the helmet off once, but I just can't see them casting Pascal and going that route. I bet it'll be a few episodes, though.
Especially if it follows the theme that Rebels put forth. That was a major point when Sabine was fighting Gar Saxon.AliasMan02 said:TCTTS said:

At some point we'll see what a badass he is without the armor. They'll make a point of that.

They were basically the Come and Take It sh**s like me and the majority of, as TCCTS would say, "Forum 16".Champ Bailey said:Sex Panther said:

Mandalore is a planet. The Mandalorian military wear the armor that Boba Fett made famous in Star Wars. They used to fight the Jedi way back When.
Would be great for him to meet an old clonetrooper or 2 though sometime in the show and have Temeura Morrison at his current age or even made to look older fill in.TCTTS said:
Ha, no. Boba is already dead. He died in Return of the Jedi and this is like 5-7 years after ROTJ. Same klan or people or whatever, though.

Please be good.
although I am a little sad this is on the family friendly D+, and not on something a little more adult-friendly.

Either way, this general release strategy is honestly more exciting to me. While I enjoy binging Netflix shows, they seemingly disappear from the pop culture discussion in a matter of days. I'd much rather keep the conversation going over a period of weeks/months, and be able to "savor"/discuss each episode before the next one.
It'll be interesting to see how this is received and how it all plays out...
