League City has been getting the fire hose treatment for the past few hours. The band is stuck and training straight over us. Harvey dumped 54" on us, this is Harvey's soy boy little cousin though.

Started about 1300 and hasn't really stopped yet. Don't know a rainfall total, but we have to be above 5 inches today. I bet we are closer to 8.

Our street hasn't flooded once today. It usually floods across the road quick but drains quick as well. It's rained a bunch but it's been pretty spread out over the day.

There is a little lagoon off clear lake right behind my house and the water is actually a good bit lower now than at 0800 this morning, even with all the rain. We will see what the next high tide brings.

Yep. I was looking outside at the rain and saw our mailman pull up about 7:50. Poor guy was delivering mail in the pouring rain, an umbrella in one hand and a flashlight in the other.
