LC has one interstate going through it, and lots of smaller roads going out to smaller towns. Almost every route you would take out of the city was in the cone of uncertainty at some point. They had the same decisions we have to make every time a storm is headed for Houston: 1. How much time do you want to spend on the road? 2. Do you have somewhere safe you can get to?

Longtime residents in S. Louisiana as are as used to hurricanes as we are.

It's absolutely true. And it was issued around 5:45 pm...WAY after we knew this was a 0% threat to Harris County.

It's so ridiculous. God help us if we ever have a real disaster while she's in office.

I also wonder what ole Ed Emmett thinks when he hears or sees her talk. He has to be dying inside.
