Mostly I care about the Big Green Egg and if something will fly in to a window. May just move the smoker and lighter stuff and make room in the garage just in case SHTF.

I'm in NW Houston. Stuff that might fly off is secured.

Not like the time when Ike came through and I forgot to secure the trampoline in the back yard. That sucker flew into the house like a sail and the metal legs almost smashed through a window. The wind tried to push it thru between the house and the side fence. It folded like an accordion. I was out in the middle of it with goggles on so I could see trying to keep it from smashing windows. The water was freezing cold coming from the sky.

Good times...

We have some good friends who live in Geismar.

We were staying with them one weekend, and decided to go to a bar while we waited for them to get done at an event. We put "bar" into google maps and ended up at some shanty down a dark, dirt road called "bobs bar" or something. It was an experience I will never forget.

Turns out there was a daiquiri bar right down from their neighborhood.
