These guys have less information then we do. Still, to say the Spurs will be dramatically worse is not logical. It's all perception and the perception is they added no good pieces, Gay and Tony are injured, Lamarcus is a headcase and wants out, and Simmons was a great player and they barely made him an offer.

Sounds like some on this board.

I was listening to another show where they criticized the Knicks for not hirin RC Buford as the GM after he expressed interest in the job. I would bet everything I own that RC doesn't want any part of James Dolan. Thus crap just comes out of nowhere. And that's why I don't believe any reports anymore.

Speaking of Gay's injury, he's been posting videos frequently on his IG account. It's pretty fun to follow along his recovery process. He was doing short sprints today.

Yea, they lost me when they started talking about Parker's "achilles" injury.

Murray. Patty is too valuable as a scorer with the second team.

But, Patty will get the 4th quarter crunch time minutes if the game is close.

If Kyrie's objective is to be the go-to player on his team, why would he want to come to San Antonio? Kawhi is gonna be the alpha dog here.

And yes, I know reports are he requested San Antonio as a possible trade destination.

Kawhi did because he had to. He is not primarily a ball handler. Guys like Kyrie, Chris Paul, James Harden, etc are primarily ball handlers.

I think the Spurs would go back towards a pass first offense if they traded LMA for an elite PG like Kyrie.

Trot out a team like:

Gasol
Gay
Kawhi
Green
Kyrie

and you are a pass first motion team again like in 2014. Wouldn't be a lot of ISOs anywhere.
