Well after further investigation it does seem like Southgate plays Walker as a CB which to me is really weird. I think he played as the middle CB in their national league defeat to Italy.

The entire team had a bad half. But if it keeps him injury free, I'm fine with it. FotMob had him at 6.5. Not horrible.

That would possibly be the most narrow 4-3-3 ever played. I think Weah will need to play against England and Wales to provide width without the need of the fullback.
