Maybe a 4-4-2 with Aaronson at top of the diamond and pulisic paired up top but generally playing wider and deeper than Sargent.

I think I'd replace Sarge with Aaronson and have Brendan play as a #10 CAM in a 4-4-2 diamond or a false 9 in 4-3-3. Then you have weah and Sargent available as subs on the wing, Ferreira and Haji available as subs in the center.

CP is much more creative on the ball. Aaronson is high energy. I'd like to see them both in there and have Gio spell one or the other.

I mentioned this earlier in the thread, glad I'm not alone in this idea, though I don't think ggg agrees.

I really think the best front 6 is Musah Adams, McKennie behind CP, Weah, Aaronson. Reyna is just a bit behind the top 3, and is so injury prone. He is a great super sub for the last 25 minutes if needed, imo. If those 7 stay healthy, and our back line can play well, I like our chances to get out of the group.

With 5 subs, I hope we rotate up front early in games as frequently as possible. The fact that we're going to have a stud AM/winger on the bench is a great problem to have.

But of course, realistically we're going to have 2 on the bench because ggg can't fathom playing without a proper 9.
