Was just pouring here in Fulshear. Had to have gotten at least an inch.

Coming in south of us would normally put us on the dirty side, but this is going to be going towards the southwest, plus its lopsided to the south half. Rain will probably be a lot less than what we normally would see.
Let's be glad. This thing is strengthening quickly and will become a hurricane.
Looks like its throwing feeder bands up our way this morning. Hopefully none of them have little twisters in them.
The next wave is not currently looking like a threat to TX.
Thanks! That one had me a little worried. I've had major damage from hurricanes three times so my blood pressure gets jacked up every time it looks like one is headed my way.
Yeah. Gonzalo went poof, and the one after that is looking to recurve out to sea. I dont look forward to August and especially September this season.

Meh, the similarities between the forecasts for Harvey and present day, on the same calendar day seemed at least mildly noteworthy. I guess y'all can lump me in with cone and the other doomers for pointing this out.

I think we will all know a whole lot more in 2 weeks.
Anyone found any computer model forecasts on these tropical systems? There must be some available that the projected paths are based on.
