It's actually some of the better hip hop around right now, if you're ever so inclined. Glover is a crazy talented guy.Belton Ag said:I'm so old that I still don't have a clue what that is nor do I have any desire to find out.YouBet said:
More and more I'm realizing how out of touch I am with pop culture. I had no idea that Donald Glover was Childish Gambino until right now. On that note, I had never heard of Childish Gambino until I happened to see his performance at the Grammy's this year which was the only redeeming quality of that show this year.
GD I'm old.
I've assumed they're going to tie into how he wins the Falcon.BernArnold said:YouBet said:
So, am I the only Star Wars nerd that has no idea what's going on with these dice? I've seen it mentioned in other SW threads and wrote it off as an internet joke.
Were these dice actually in ANH? What is the significance here? I literally had zero knowledge of these dice existing until the last few weeks.
I'm not sure if I should turn in my SW man card or what.....
do you watch SW movies? jk.... kinda.
the dice were hanging in the Falcon during TFA.... and apparently JJ filmed a scene but it was cut where Han hung them back up there when he got the Falcon back.
and in TLJ Luke noticed we he got on the Falcon for the first time in 30+ years, and then later handed them to Leia (although it turned out thy were a projection)
now way back in SW :ANH the dice were there too but never mentioned... seen in only one shot actually.
what they actually mean or how he got them we have no idea.
but now they've been spotted in theSolo trailer in the little speeder he was driving.

Whoever called the dice showing up in the Solo movie, gets 5 internet points.

I'm starting to feel like Lando is going to steal the show in this movie.
And while dark-haired Danerys is the best Danerys, I'm really unconvinced on her as an actress outside of saying "Dracarys". Hope she's more impressive here.
Woody Harrelson needs to get a T-shirt that says "I mentored Katniss Everdeen and Han Solo. Deal with it."
No. Always start with Episode IV. Introduce the original characters then go into back stories.TCTTS said:
Never really thought of this, but seeing as Solo takes place before Rogue One, those of you (such as myself) who prescribe to the 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 order, will we now START with Solo for marathons and/or for those introducing someone to these films? Is the new order now...
01) Solo: A Star Wars Story
02) Rogue One: A Story Story
03) Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
04) Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
05) Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
06) Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones
07) Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
08) Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
09) Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
10) Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi
11) Star Wars: Episode IX
