I have a bad feeling about this. After watching the trailers, I am getting excited BUT I am expecting a letdown once seen in theater.

To end, Lucasfilms does such a better job than the Disney versions..."go figure!" I know.

ok i was talking Lucas (not Lucasfilm) and RO

a. was distributed by Disney
b. was Lucasfilm....NOT Lucas himself
c. produced by Kathleen Kennedy
d. Lucasfilm sold to Disney in 2012 RO released in 2015

doesn't sound like LUCAS film to me

Lucasfilm itself still exists anyway... it was the production company for TFA and TLJ too.

SO not sure what a disney SW film is if it is not RO, TFA and TLJ.

Good points that I did not know. You, individual, are a true connoisseur of Star Wars!

In this viewer's opinion, the production and cinematography of Rogue One is on a much higher level than that of TFA and TLJ. I want this to be the case with Solo.

I researched IMDb on TFA, TLJ, Rogue One and Solo to find minor differences in production companies but this is for a different thread.

I need to get back to my plate of crow...

Yes, but I thought the issue was it became too much a comedy.

Yes but could still work as a buddy / action flick with some doses of comedy. Natural stuff that strikes us as funny knowing the character so well. you can do that without going over the top.

Han as himself was funny in SW OT but was all action when called for as well.

And I don't know why but any line or setup with an obvious rebuttal Chewie roar is funny.... every time.

I believe the other issue with the original directors is they kept going way off script and letting actors improv to many lines
