Looks fun!
The exterior of it looked brand-new at the end of the trailer. I didn't even see a dish of any kind on it.lunchbox said:
I love how the interior of the Falcon is pristine.
It is kinda funny that the initial production name for Rey was "Kira".BernArnold said:
Hey ya'll........
Note the ummm female British accent....... where have we heard that before in SW universe??
Only a couple including early bad accent Leia and .......... Rey.
Hmmmmm.
Han knows this Qi'ra played by Emilia Clark.
And seems to know or surmise who Rey is.
Perhaps it's pronounced key-ray????
I mean come on..... you think young Han ain't hitting that?????
Believe me, I've been worried about this movie since it was announced, but -- am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with how he looks? I'm more worried about him not "feeling" like Han, but in the looks department, I think he looks plenty like Han Solo.AgMarauder04 said:
How little he looks like Ford bugs the hell outta me
Yep, this is my biggest concern.Brian Earl Spilner said:Believe me, I've been worried about this movie since it was announced, but -- am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with how he looks? Replicate what Ford did?Quote:
Sure, I know that it is damn near impossible to replicate what Ford did for the character in the originals, but I feel like, judging from the trailer, they might have missed on this one.

There's a potential commercial tie in for Disney here....
What 20+ years of not using Armor All looks like.

Would that it were that simple....

It will always be impossible to replace Ford as Han in the eyes of the fans, whether it be looks or charisma, people are going to ***** about it. Might as well get over that hump and judge the movie on everything else because they were never going to win that battle.
Looking at the Lego box art, it looks like the Falcon has a more "squished" down antenna dish on it. Akin to the rectangular one in TFA that replaced the one lost in ROTJ, maybe the more familiar one is a replacement as well.GiveEmHellBill said:The exterior of it looked brand-new at the end of the trailer. I guess all those "special modifications" he made himself over the years kinda junked it out.
thought the same thing.boogieman said:
Felt like the last line from Solo teaser was a subliminal message from Disney about the quality of the movie, with Han saying "thought we were in trouble there for a second, but it's fine. We're fine."
well it did... till the last movie.AliasMan02 said:
Or "This will begin to make things right."

I agree regarding his look not being as important. But based on the trailer, he didn't feel like Han Solo to me. This is ultimately why I didn't think this movie was a great idea. It would be dang near impossible to replicate Harrison Ford at age 30.

Ehhh, I'm obviously going to see it, but I'm feeling meh based on the trailer. I'm just not convinced he's Han Solo based on that limited footage. Also, the trailer felt a bit Star Trek-like.
