I'd bet Morris finds his way on to our WC roster. Acosta looks washed. I like him, but he is just a step slower than he needs to be on and off the ball. Roldan is largely invisible in the midfield so far.

I'm all in on Morris. I used to loathe him but he's worked to improve the parts of his game that were lacking and oh yeah you can't coach that kinda pace either
He's got a unique skill set and would be a terror as a second half sub.

There definitely aren't many guys like him. He puts immense pressure on opposing defenders.

I thought Morris was going to be an odd man out. But seeing him last night was a reminder that he has serious speed and attacking traits that guys like Arriola, Roldan, etc just can't match.
I thought Acosta had a roster spot, but he's less convincing every time he steps on the field since WCQs started.
Berhalter needs to try guys like Sargent/Reyna at the 8. I'm starting to think taking any more than 1 of Arriola, Lletget,Acosta,Roldan would be a huge waste of roster space.
I'm not convinced by Ferreira. He doesn't have great speed, size or technical skills. He seems like a good MLS level player. Nothing more.

I think starting Acosta and Roldan was a huge waste of an opportunity to try players out. Then you bring on Yuiell and Zardes as well.

JoGo gets 5 mins and sparks the only goal. Play the kids in the meaningless games Gregg…we've seen enough Roldan, Zardes and Acosta to last 10 lifetimes.
In my opinion:
1. Morris will hopefully take the spot on the WCQ squad that either Roldan or Zardes were gunning for. Morris is a much better option than either.
2. Acosta is going to be on the WCQ teams and WC team, he just is. We don't have other solid options for that 6 position to back up Tyler Adams. The fact that Yuiell is still getting any minutes with the WC team tells you how badly we need Acosta.
