per redit, someone in the crowd required life saving medial treatment - cardiac arrest or something.. chelsea trainers had to administer because watford trainers were tending to a player on the pitch.

since coming back from Intl break, CP has started one, subbed in one, and now it looks like he'll go full 90 for the first time. Good sign both for CP's health and Tuchel's trust in CP.

Counterpoint is that somebody has to play just for Chelsea to field a team right now
they don't have that many injuries. two of their defensive midfielders in Kante and Kova are out and two fullbacks - Chillwell and James - James just got hurt last game. ...all the forwards that were hurt earlier this season: Pulisic, Mount, Werner, Lukaku are fit and have been for a little while now.

i don't care how much of a mess ManU is right now and I understand that there was a red card on Harry Maguire in that one, by them getting run off the pitch by Watford says something about Watford as much as it says something about ManU.

Correct, though there are a couple from Europe as well.

  • Not surprising to see Zardes, Morris and Long called in as all recovering from injuries
  • Both Cowell and Clark are in; which is a bit surprising since Caden is on his way to Leipzig.
  • Bryan Reynolds (Roma) was allowed to come into camp.
  • Taylor Booth was called in from Bayern II.
  • Cardoso is in from Brazil (plays the 6 right?)
  • Jonathan Gomez is in from USL (dual national)
  • Paredes is in as well (dual national?)

About as well as you could have hoped seeing it's not an approved window. I'm assuming we'll see something like this:

Turner
Bello - Che - Zimmerman - Reynolds
Roldan - Acosta - Yueill
Morris - Pepi - Zardes?

Only going off of name recognition on the defenseman and I wouldn't be shocked to see some of the guys listed under forwards to play in midfield.

I'd like to See Gomez get some time, he's a LB.

We may see Reynolds start at RB; depending on how he looks in camp.

Would be interesting to see who starts at #9, Pepi or Zardes. Surprised Dike wasn't called in.

I think Morris will get the start as the RW and probably Clark @ LW.
