That sounds great! I'd imagine that the Bush Army Futures facility there and all of the other organizations will bring tech jobs as well. It's amazing when you think about it. I can't wait to see this all development.

Dunkin' on Wellborn Road has all of its signs up, including signs for a Baskin-Robbins inside (though it looks like it's at least a month away from opening).

Also a Carmax will going in across from Cooper's at Pavilion Place and Highway 6.

I think the Jersey Mike's in Jones Crossing is planning to open before the end of the month, but I'm not 100% positive on that

I know that the sign went up for a new Drew's Car Wash on Texas Ave. in Bryan. I have not noticed any happenings around there. Is it still opening up? I hope so.

I've eaten at a Las Palapas near my parent's house off 1604 in San Antonio many times and I love it. It would be such an improvement over Taco Cabana.

I totally missed the University location had even been opened on the weekends (stupid FB) :-( But I do think he is making a good call on changing concepts and looking forward to it. Very few places have good grilled cheeses in town and I imagine his will be awesome! Keeping the queso and fries, and the soup won't just be an afterthought! :-D

Some of the restaurants were tanking before COVID hit. Some of the cratering was absolute. It could be something like a bad menu or location.

We stopped going to a few restaurants due to simple things such as a major ingredient being cold or undercooked.

I think managers and owners need objective feedback. Not everyone likes veal, so if the focus is on veal, good luck. Or, people may not want to pay $12 for a tiny portion of food. There are many variable, but consumers do expect value and taste (in most cases). Hygiene is important. I am thinking of one large taco chain where the food is brought out to the table. The food runner is holding up his jeans with one hand, and the other tray is the food. He doesn't know where to go, so he circles the restaurant. Flies are circling, too. I stopped going to that place. Managers and owners really need to act like a customer and watch the operation.

The Wall Street Journal says Harley Davidson is closing underperforming dealerships. They think they have too many dealerships so they want to shutter at least 100 around the country. No word yet if the CS one is on the list.

New Kolache Shop opening up in the drive-through at the new strip center next to the Exxon at William D Fitch and Hwy 6, Infront of Lowes. Not sure about the timeline. Sometime Q1 2021

I've heard for years that the CS Harley Davidson Dealership is looking to move into a bigger building and is in too small of a space for the amount of business they do. If half of that is true I'm sure they're safe.
