Ok. I didn't read. I just saw Kroger and I automatically assumed the one at Rock Prairie. That's actually a better location, so I'm glade it's going there. Now KFC will have some competition.

So excited about Popeye's!!! Hopefully this one will actually have chicken, as opposed to the one on Graham that closed and is now Marco's. I never went in there when they had anything cooked - no shocking they shut down.

That's sort of the MO for Popeye's.

Place your order.
Pull around.
Wait for 10-15 minutes while they cook the food.
Get your order.
It's not right, but you leave and eat it anyway because Popeye's gives you what you need, not what you think you want.

Took my father in law to the old closed location once. As we stood in line, everyone was complaining their order was wrong. When it was his turn to order, he said, "Just give me whatever you want, you are not going to get it right anyway."

I contacted my Landlord rep with Weingarten and they're just putting up another retail building similar to our building next door.

Same thing with On the Border a few weeks back. They must have been repairing it as later in the day SignPro was putting it back up. (So just a thought - I don't know for sure)

I saw on an old post from Grub that someone recently (within the past week) commented that they saw the lights on and asked if they were reopening to which Grub replied that they are working on it.

The state Of Texas is giving $50 million and Futures is giving $65 million over 5 years.

Yes, the $80 million was for the Research Innovation Center, which is currently being built. The indoor shooting range for TEEX will also be built in the same area.
