I see oldham Goodwin is advertising 6 months free rent on some properties for new tenants. Probably gives an indication on how things are going.

Red Lobster is gone forever? I rarely are there (no really I didn't) but my parents and aunts/uncles did. There's a For Rent sign outside.

If their ads match the food, I would think it would be successful but way more expensive. They show massive shrimp and then you go and it is salad shrimp.
We hear that it's a children's boutique. TBF.. it's a HUGE area for just a children's boutique, so there's probably something else going in there.
I saw that a former restaurant owner may be getting back into the business. More info coming I guess.

What about the old Fox and Hound location? I drove by the other day, and it looked like it was getting a big refurbishment.
Good sign (I hope?) that so many are taking a chance and opening new places.

I grew up in beaumont, lived through several hurricane s, had a house destroyed by Rita. ALL of my family still Ives in the area and I have several relatives staying at hotels in BCS and cousins in my home right now. So, spare me a lecture.
Hurricanes are horrible things and I'm hoping the storm moves quickly with minimal damage. I wish they weren't having to be here, but there is a silver lining in that hopefully small business owners that have been absolutely crushed the past 6 months can serve these people. Sorry if that offends you.

Does anyone know if Drew's car wash is still going to open up in Bryan on Texas Ave. close to HEB? I was looking forward to a new car wash to try.

Yes, new build. They submitted site plans a few months back.
