We posted a nice explanation on our Facebook this morning for the public's perusal.
This is a concept that Andreas and I dreamed up last summer. It's brand new and different from anything else in town.

Really hope the bread pudding makes the cut! My wife and I went on one of our very first dates at the old location and had the bread pudding for desert. We had dinner at the current location the night we got engaged and of course, we had the bread pudding. Last night, my wife was admitted to the hospital and we expect our daughter to make an appearance some time today! It wasn't much of a sacrifice, but for dinner last night we did have to settle on Burger Mojo and a strawberry tart!

Texas Bucket List opened a store on holleman.
BCS Axe House on Texas Avenue north of Jose's will open in June. Panda Express has been issued a permit to build a location on Briarcrest in the Walmart Reimagined Center.

Friend of mine was told at New Republic today to visit as often as she can because they're closing in about a month. Buy their beer while you can.
Southerns is back open. However, Krab Kingz Seafood looks to have taken over the kitchen and menu. I went there for dinner a few times before the pandemic closure and really like their original menu.Quote:

Sad about all the closures and those places that couldn't make it through this. Hopefully things will get better in the fall.
More places should relocate to the bypass and they'd be fine.

Tipsy Bean is closing per their Facebook page. Saturday will be their last day.

All of the above had their own unique issues for closing, that contributed to their demise. Service declined severely, roast beef passed off as BBQ, BBQ place opened and didn't give out utensils, high priced bad food, high priced outdoor gear next door to cheaper priced outdoor gear and eventual bankruptcy, more bankruptcies!
I'd venture to say some of the above shot themselves in the foot which contributed as much as simply not being patronized.
But again, success, failure/ proximity to the bypass is an Aggieland board joke.
4.0 Cuts seems to be moving from The Domain to the Equity building at Wellborn and Navarro. I assume it's moving, the rent at the Domain has got to be pretty high (along with parking issues).
So i got a heads up on a couple new food places from my daughter and wondered if you guys have tried them. First one is a black food truck called Cheese N' usually parked across from discount tire in CS on Texas ave. 2nd one is Tacos La Perlita on Harvey in the Woodstone center. Any one been to either of these?
