Most teams don't. Not his biggest fan but he has won the division twice and won a playoff game.
The problem is Brock hogs a huge portion of your salary cap next year no matter what. Compare to the Cowboys (or Seahwaks or 49'ers a few years ago) where they had to spend very little for a GOOD starting QB and could build a great team around them. The Texans are stuck with an awful QB (starting or backup) who cost a TON of cash for next year.Ags #1 said:

It will be amazing if they can be competitive next year period unless they can figure out a way out of the Brock contract.

also lost among Osweiler's terrible season...how bad Will Fuller was after week 2. He was awful.
finished the season with 47 catches on 92 targets for 635 yards & 2 TD's.
throw out the first 2 weeks...
and his numbers the rest of the year were: 38 catches for 421 yards & 1 TD (in 12 games)

Yeah, that is a BIG problem.
Lance just threw out Nathan Peterman. 2 year starter at Pitt and ran a pro style offense. He can probably be had in the 3rd or later.

What was the final numbers on TD to INT for Osweiler? Did he finish in the negative numbers?
