Given that the game will feature Savage/Osweiler and McGloin/Cook, I think it is 100% likely that Texans will be the 3:30 game on Saturday
I guess the Texans might win a playoff game this season after all.

the Jaguars will have a top 5 pick again...this time at #4 overall.
the Titans also have a top 5 pick...#5 overall and #18 overall.
both have chances to improve their rosters. It seems like the Jags finally got one right last year with CB Ramsey

And the Titans have a ton of cap room. I think they take a big step forward next year

Savage still in concussion protocol, Brock will likely start Saturday. Hard to get out of the protocol because of so many steps.. QB needs reps and unless savage clears it by tomorrow much less Wednesday.. that's of 5 today.
Biggest question is will Savages protocol allow him to practice depending on severity

Still not convinced of the concussion diagnosis?
Guys on TV said he was cleared and then reassessed at halftime. Gotta wonder if the change was influenced by someone that wants Osweiler to start.
I would not be surprised if they both played vs. the Raiders
In regards OB and his job, if he goes be prepared to blame and be stuck with Rick Smith.. There is tension there and Rick knows his head is on the line for signing Brock. It all might be coming full circle.

Damn, to hear you say that makes me think this might actually happen. I've always stuck by my teams but this one really is making it tough.
Firing Obrien would set this team back 5 plus years. Assuming JJ wants Obrien he should be up McNairs ass about keeping him no matter what. Obrien isn't Lombardi but what he's done with the absolute **** qb play the last 3 years is nothing short of a miracle
I, in no way am making light of McNair's cancer, but are we sure he doesn't have mets to the brain?
How on earth could there be a scenario where a coach that was brought in by a GM, given limited (correct me if I'm wrong Bilbo) input on the roster and subsequently handcuffed by a QB free agent singing that was horrendous end up being fired and said GM gets to keep his job and restart the process?
No wonder the Texans are looked at as a joke of a franchise.

I'm betting this would be more of a mutual separation than a firing, and I don't blame BoB one bit if that's the case. This organization is run so damn poorly. Rick Smith would not cut it as a GM anywhere in this league, thank the good lord above that I don't waste my money on season tickets!
Wow. If they fire OB how will they get any self respecting coach to come here?
