As a Saints fan, looks like we're well on our way to another terrible season. Andrus Peat will go down as one of the worst first round draft picks in NFL history. Just awful. He's gonna get Brees killed out there.
At least the D looks better. The offense is just pitiful. The O-line is just clueless and JJ Watt isn't even playing.

Me too. They had them early on for a couple games back in 2002.
Did savage look bad?
Compared to last week, yes. Held on to the ball too long for a few plays and just wasn't that sharp.
Watching the game this morning.
-The speed on offense is noticeably better. Impressed with both Braxton Miller and Will Fuller.
-Clowney was a force. If he can just stay healthy...
-A lot more energy than last week. DL dominated. I thought even Reader looked like a good situational player.
-Brock looks like a big upgrade, but can't force passes in the redzone. Savage was alright but hesitated on several throws.
-OL needs to get healthy but pass blocking was better than I expected given that we were missing 4 starters.

How the hell did Novak get a concussion?
Last kickoff he had to make the tackle.
They are giving Newton an extra week from what I was told, Brown has looked to be 2-3 weeks away.. Brown seems to progressing but then they keep holding him back.
I think Martin will be ok w/o surgery but still up in air

Is Strong suspended at the beginning of the season? I thought I remembered hearing rumblings about it for the marijuana possession but couldn't locate a record of how many games it will be for.
