I wouldn't say the Stark line is entirely dead yet. The whole Jon being part Targaryean leaves the possibility open, Sansa is still a possibility but I agree with the above poster that it seems fishy ...
And crap. I forget the name ... The guy that Davos went to talk to that faked Davos' death? The grossly overweight Lord of ... Is it White Harbor? Didn't he also have some sort of master plan with a lot of the Northern lords to have Rickon placed as King in the North? That possibility is still there.
But as the story continues to grow, the Stark relevance continues to shrink. The story is going to shift the main focus on Dany as the last two books come out. And I still fully expect there to be some sort of alliance/marriage/interaction of note between Dany and Jon, plot changing.
