I think we will see Howland Reed in the books soon as part of Jon's storyline but ideally the whole rebellion would be covered in a series of books.

where do y'all think Melisandre is going? also, since there has been no Edric Storm in the show, do you think she was talking about Gendry when she told him of someone from his bloodline? the look on stannis's face seemed one of recognition

Totally knew character. No clue how they are handling the Theon storyline.

And her zingers have been so good -- quite as deliciously sharp as those of Maggie Smith on "Downton Abbey" -- that the show's writers have expanded her role. They've added scenes between Lady Olenna and Tywin Lannister (pairing her again with Dance) and the equally sharp-tongued Tyrion (Peter Dinklage).
That's one battle (of wits) scene we can't wait to see!

are you just intentionally misleading them?
i'm not sure why some of you are saying theon's storyline is such a departure from the books. ramsay and crew still sacked winterfell (the appearance of rodrik and his men were shifted a bit but that didn't change much) and are now holding theon. the guy "saving" him is obviously ramsay playing the same little escape game that was referenced in the books. in fact this could be 100% what GRRM intended to have happened to theon, we just never saw it on-screen. it all builds up to making the Reek character from ADwD

Alfie is doing a fantastic job with that character
