I've also seen social media posts of LMJ throwing BP sessions in FL and Jose and Carlos in the cage at MMP.

Glad to see our guys are getting started early and hungry to defend.

Does this provide some protection for George if he had some bad injury this year? Assuming he would make this amount the next 2 years through arbitration
It's not a huge savings for 2019, but they've essentially moved some of George's potential 2019 salary into 2018. I guess every little bit counts.

Betts won his for 10.5(same as George was asking) and I think I read he's expected to get 17 M next year. If George was going to get the same then we're talking about 5 M saved in '19.

So there's apparently going to be a spring training for free agents. Where guys like Hosmer and JD can go play to stay in shape. I kind of like the idea.

So who's paying for the facilities, trainers, equipment? The players? Boras and the other agents overvaluing the players?
