May be off base but I think the timing is pretty much in line with what was forecasted. It hasn't really pushed into the major metro area yet and way supposed to be offshore by evening. So if anything it's a little more severe in the NW area than what was estimated.gougler08 said:

Same for us near Grant & Louetta. County rain gauge around the corner shows ~2-1/2 in the last 2 hours. And it ain't stopping yet, only seems to have gotten worse.

His shop is in Old Katy area and they had what he calls a little twister blow through and turn over some carports they use to cover equipment around 1pm.

15th floor at Greenway plaza was wild for a bit, calm now. Looks like 5 miles south was pretty bad with straight line winds and that possible tornado signature
