Temps been averaging 5 to 7 degrees lower than forecast in areas. Pretty much what the ICON has been forecasting
Ill own up to it, not properly caffenated. Still dont see how power flickers 12 hours in front of a storm is relevant. Fire awayhtxag09 said:Charlie Murphy said:Ill bite, how does your power "almost flicker"?Frok said:
Happy freeze day!
Already had my power flicker in the middle of the night.
Quoting something the poster didn't say. Interesting
Also the bays. Watch downwind from local bays. If anything forms offshore over the Gulf it’s coming for the oil rigs.

I built a house in Shadow Creek Ranch in Pearland in 2008. Lived there about 10 years and we lost power all the damn time for seemingly no reason. Moved to innner city Houston and rarely lose power now, including during Harvey and the '21 freeze.Cromagnum said:jrrhouston98 said:

Thats sketchy. The front is still about 4-5 hours from there.

100% chance it's an issue locally with infrastructure. Hopefully your buddy is not a complete dumbass and able to differentiate the difference between that and the grid. Do you know if he had a Beta sign up in his yard? That would help.jrrhouston98 said:

Just took a walk around my neighborhood, an older neighborhood by the way, and shocked to see 4-7 houses out of around 60, still with water hoses connected and maybe only 60% with outside faucets covered.
Maybe they have their water off already?

Houston is truly the laughing stock of the nation. No sleet snow or ice and the city is going to shut down due to cold temps. You can't even think about getting into the HEB in Fairfield right now
It's also 3 days before Christmas. HEB is Fairfield would be a s-show no matter what.plowboy1065 said:

This website is going to rival baseball-reference.com for time wasting for the next few days for me.Ezra Brooks said:Cool websitespadilly said:
