He's been milking the fear and publicity for all its worth. Maybe eyeballing a run at governor, but even if not gov, there are a lot more options to milk a higher Dem office out of this thing. I will be completely shocked if we dont see him running for something higher soon.

Yeah, his capacity spin is utter nonsense. That is straight up fearmongering and hoping this blows up on the governor when a real leader would be trying to instill a combo of confidence and caution

Capacity only matters if you are running at it. I tweeted him back, asking, politely, what percentage of capacity we're at. No reply.

That's a huge jump in one day, almost a third of the previous day, wonder if there's an error? The Mayors report had an error over the weekend, they reported 370 vents when it should have only been 317. He corrected it yesterday on twitter.

Can someone in Dallas Co. please tell us the number of tests the new cases resulted from. That is the only meaningful context for those numbers. Testing surely has got to be ramping up with the new testing centers opening (in spite of what Dr. Huang says).
The rate is pretty close to what it was on 5/2. It could be weekend reporting, for sure.

Low weekend numbers have been catching up on Tuesdays all along.
The County is only reporting that there has not been an increase in their testing (AAC, Ellis Fieldhouse, Mobile Units) which are 1,000 per day. On the link below under additional data you can see tests per county and check daily to determine the daily testing if you were bored, but as of today Dallas County has tested over 30,000. you would still be guessing at which day the positives came from though since there's a 4-7 day lag in results.

I had a video conference with my Dr and they are screening just about anyone with a fever if the patients wants to go through with the test, so there doesn't seem to be a shortage of testing locally.

Another stupid ass model to look back on and think "why the F#&$ did we pay attention to that"? Someone tag me in August when we're at 135,000 deaths. I know everyone that tests positive to this and dies of something else is going into the numbers but that's still going to be inflated.

Don't care. Fine her more if you want. Putting her in jail is about the most counterproductive thing I could imagine if he's concerned about "safety". I'd argue the judge is guilty of plenty of prideful posturing himself.
