The good news is I only see 2 Joe Buck announced games on that list. Although, if the cowboys are good, 1 or 2 more will probably be flexed into his time slot.

Assuming every team as improved the same. Split conference games. Losses to TB, NE, Minn, KC and Az.

I'd guess every team in the NFC East will be about the same. They all stunk last year.

Cowboys win their Division at 9-8.

He definitely seems to have a bias against the cowboys and Troy doesn't do much to stop him. Definitely my least favorite broadcast team when I'm watching a cowboy game. They're ok for other games tho.

This is a really tough schedule. We have 9 road games, including 7 of the 9 being in consecutive weekends. I have them losing all 9 on the road. The only chance they have of winning is in the division. I think the defense will be better but will struggle again with the new system.

Assuming Denver will have Aaron Rodgers.

At NE, TB, KC, LAC are all going to be bad losses.

Odd we have a few repeats (at MINN, ATL at home, AZ at home) from last year. Those were games won last minute or blowout losses and I expect all Ls this year.

Don't forget the saints lost Brees, but unfortunately Payton still kicked our ass without him.

Don't forget, we also kicked Payton's ass with Brees the year before that. Although neither game was an ass kicking, both very close.

If the cowboys lose then it's an ass kicking, if they win then they were lucky to pull it off.

Trading the NFC west for the NFC South helps with 3 very winnable gamea
Also going from AFC North to AFC West you pick up 3 more winnable games

So yeah the division crossovers help big time
Its gonna take 10 wins to win the division this year

Yeah, I think you're right. Very serious Cowboys PTSD in the house. Cowboys offense is going to be light years ahead of where it was last year.

Taken with a grain of salt because the QBs at the rookie mini camp were pretty poor I hear... same goes for the WRs. But the rookie defenders made a big impression on lots of people, and not just the typical sport writers either.

Barry Church was singing all the praises of 6th round CB Israel Mukuamu. They moved him to FS and he looked awesome in team drills. 6-3 / 205 safety with coverage skills.

The much talked about CB Nahshon Wright also impressed. They were concerned at first because he didn't look great day 1 just doing drills. But once they got him into team drills they said he lined up nose to nose with the WR and his extremely long arms went to work on the WRs. Former WR Isaiah Stanback said he was like E Honda from street fighther with his thousand slaps move.

To no ones surprise Cox got a pick and Micah Parsons athleticism was as advertised. Blown away isn't the right word for Micah because everybody had extremely high expectations for a LB drafted #12... but they were pleasantly surprised that he lived up to all of them. None of this was in pads, but they said it was obvious that he is, right now, our most athletic defender on the team. Nice.

For the D-line picks not much to say with no pads on, but just physically speaking everybody was impressed. They said Golston could tie his shoes standing up his arms are so long... similar comments for Odighizuwa. Again, it's way early, but they were impressed enough to start asking which vet would these guys force off the roster. Trysten Hill and Bradlee Anae's names came up. Hill in particular would be a surprise, but we have to remember that none of these guys were Quinn guys and our 3rd round picks are making this team. Competition will be fierce in camp!

Haha, yeah, he's on one of the cowboy talk shows so I hear him somewhat regularly. He's got pretty good insight as an ex player.

Fun fact, he won a super bowl ring with New England.

The biggest BS factor is how the Cowboys play on 4 days rest for Turkey Day. And instead of then getting the usual 10 days to recover, nope, F you Cowboys, you're playing on Thursday night next week too!

It happened in 2019 as well. Name any other team that is forced to play on Thursday night two weeks in a row??? Doesn't happen.

I also can't fathom any other team starting the season with 2 road games (going coast to coast mind you)... having a stretch of 3 consecutive road games mid season... and then ending the season on the road as well. This is seriously the most messed up schedule I've ever seen!
Trucker 96
How long do you want to ignore this user?
The team they were/are playing against on that 2nd Thursday also played on Thanksgiving. Basically, it's an opportunity for the NFL to cover a Thursday night without forcing 2 teams into a 4 day week. I'm not a big fan, but I don't necessarily consider it a disadvantage

I'm not sure, but I know Atl has cap issues (pretty sure they are currently over the limit and have to shed salary).

I'm guessing he wasn't a fan of the Pitts pick either and he sees the writing on the wall.

Look at Jaylon. Throwing down some of that cash he made from his business while he should've been practicing the last few years to wear Tony Romo's jersey #. I guess it paid off.

No one has been buying Jaylon jerseys because he sucks balls, so he probably had a crapload of inventory to buy. Making him a June 1 cut at this point would be hilarious

I wouldn't be opposed. I don't fault players for having businesses on the side, but don't use it as an excuse to not practice and show up not ready to play.

I hope Cox and parsons make Jaylon smith as uncomfortable as possible.
