How/why does Honda get out of the game when they are on top only to sell their engine operation to Red Bull and re-start a new one a few years later? I know the regulation changes are a big deal for engine makers, see Porsche/Audi requiring them before committing to F1, but that seems inefficient for Honda.

To be a frontrunner, you have to have full freedom to design the car, and having to use Mercedes parts secondhand is probably holding AM back a bit. With being able to design the full package with Honda, they can unlock more potential, as a team.

This probably means 2025 is Alonso's last year

Also, wonder when McLaren is going to stop wasting money on liveries and branding, and start spending money on car development. Aston completely pantsed McLaren and Alpine as not being serious about winning.

I love Rosenqvist's Indy 500 livery with the full orange/white chevrons. McLaren should just adopt that and roll with it.
