American Rookie got into Q3 and crashed out in a wild, wet race. He's set the new benchmark for himself, but you can't fire a guy after his best overall weekly performance.

You'd like to see him close the gap to Albon, though. Pressure's still on, but it's not like Williams was expecting him to kill it out of the gate.

Sure you can. Ron Dennis did that to Michael Andretti back in '93.

It's not like Sargent has a small gap to Albon. He is getting destroyed by a large margin in qualifying and the races.

He lost hydraulic pressure yesterday. Not much he can do in that situation

Watching F2 right now and news just broke by Italian media that Kimi Antonelli might skip F3 to go straight to F2 at the advice of Mercedes.

This is an insane move but with the new cars it might make sense. Antonelli is easily the best junior in single seaters since last year (his first year in single seaters lol) and is considered a generational talent, probably the best Mercedes signing since Russell.

Maybe they move him to F2 in hopes that he wins the title on his second year (winning on his first would be huge but I don't wanna count on it) then replace Lewis in case he leaves at the end of 2025
