You got me. The team principal is an American citizen.

The car is designed in Italy.
The parts are manufactured in England.

They do have CFD in Charlotte. Big whoop. They're still far more of an international team than an American team. They aren't American.

Zhou signing for 1 more year. He was having sponsor money troubles.

Sucks for both Pourchaire and Drugovich. Pourchaire stays as reserve for Alfa Romeo for 2024, Drugovich has been rejecting offers from IndyCar and Formula E because he is still hopeful of scoring an F1 seat but I think the guy is done now

Is this a pure money losing brand investment for GM/Cadillac? It has to be insanely expensive to build a team and infrastructure from scratch, actually compete against top F1 teams and then pay for all the logistics that go into managing a team every year and keeping up.

Andretti can't win consistently in a spec indycar series. I don't know how they expect to be competitive in a series where they have to design and build their own chassis.

This has been my thought also. I'm glad that there will be another American flagged team in F1 (and please let's not get in that whole Haas thing) and they seem to be well funded. I've also seen Herta's name tossed around as a possible driver and to me that would would be grossly negligent, he can't stay out of the barriers now. It would be like Michael's failed F1 foray back in the 90's.

Yes. Danny Ric caught some bad luck and Lawson proved himself so far.
Danny Ric back to reserve driver and show driver. Unfortunately I think his time has passed for full F1 seat.
